Piefer Receives 2010 Woman in the Law Award

On Friday, May 21, 2010, Sally Piefer was recognized as a Wisconsin Law Journal 2010 Woman in the Law

In total, 21 woman were recognized as having made - or continue to make - their mark on the law. "Some have had important cases; others have provided leadership in their firm. Still others have blazed a trail for future leaders by commanding roles previously held only by men. All of them are an inspiration and provide examples of how far women have come in the legal profession," says Ann Richmond, Publisher of the Wisconsin Law Journal.

A luncheon was held on May 21 for the honorees as a way to showcase their accomplishments and present their awards.

An excerpt taken from Sally's nomination:

What does it take to be a Woman in the Law? Strength, stability, knowledge, a willingness to participate, leadership, humility and a sense of humor. Sally Piefer encompasses all of these values which make her such an important asset to The Schroeder Group and to the many organizations she supports.
